Snow 03:06
Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow It won't be long before we'll all be there with snow Snow, snow, I wanna wash my hands, my face and hair with snow Snow... I long to clear a path, and lift a spade of snow Snow, oh, to see a great big man entirely made of snow Snow, where it's snowing all winter through That's where I want to be Snowball throwing, that's what I'll do How I'm longing to ski through the Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow Those glist'ning houses that seem to be built of snow Snow, oh, to see a mountain covered with a quilt of snow What is Christmas with no snow? No white Christmas with no snow Snow... I'll soon be there with snow, I'll wash my hair with snow And with a spade of snow, I'll build a man that's made of snow I'd like to stay up with you, but I recommend a little shut-eye Go to sleep, and dream of snow, snow, snow, snow.

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen But do you recall... The most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer Had a very shiny nose And if you ever saw it You would even say it glows All of the other reindeer Used to laugh and call him names They never let poor Rudolph Join in any reindeer games Then one foggy Christmas eve Santa came to say (came to say) "Rudolph, with your nose so bright Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Then how the reindeer loved him As they shouted out with glee Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer You'll go down in history They got Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen Nothing can compare to that bright nosed reindeer in the air Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (reindeer) Had a very shiny nose (what a shiny nose) And if you ever saw it (ever saw it) You would even say it glows All of the other reindeer Used to laugh and call him names They never let poor Rudolph (poor Rudolph) Join in any reindeer games Then one foggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say (Santa came to say) "Rudolph with your nose so bright Won't you come guide my sleigh tonight?" Then how the reindeer loved him As they shouted out with glee Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer You'll go down in history

Frosty the snowman Was a jolly, happy soul With a corncob pipe and a button nose And two eyes made out of coal "Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale", they say He was made of snow But the children know How he came to life one day There must have been some magic In that old silk hat they found For when they placed it on his head He began to dance around Oh, Frosty the snowman Was alive as he could be And the children say, "He could laugh and play" Just the same as you and me Frosty the snowman Knew the sun was hot that day So he said, "Let's run and we'll have some fun Now before I melt away" Down to the village With a broomstick in his hand Running here and there, all around the square Saying, "Catch me if you can" He led them down the streets of town Right to the traffic cop And he only paused a moment when He heard him holler, "Stop" For Frosty the snowman Had to hurry on his way But he waved goodbye, saying "Don't you cry, I'll be back again someday"

Silver Bells 02:55
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks Dressed in holiday style In the air there's a feeling Of Christmas Children laughing, people passing Meeting smile after smile And on every street corner you'll hear Silver bells Silver bells It's Christmas time in the city Ring-a-ling Hear them ring Soon it will be Christmas Day Strings of streetlights, even stoplights Blink of bright red and green As the shoppers rush home with their treasures Hear the snow crunch See the kids bunch This is Santa's big scene And above all the bustle you'll hear Silver bells Silver bells It's Christmas time in the city Ring-a-ling, hear them ring Soon it will be Christmas Day Soon it will be Christmas Day

I love the winter weather Because the two of us can get together There's nothing sweeter, finer When it's nice and cold, I can hold My baby closer to me And collect the kisses that are due me I love the winter weather Because I've got my love to keep me warm Take the summer, you can have a ball I like the springtime, even the fall But I guess I like the winter most of all!

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say On a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day That's the island greeting that we send to you From the land where palm trees sway Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright The sun to shine by day, and all the stars at night Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way to say merry Christmas to you

Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la! 'Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la la la la! Don we now our gay apparel, Fa la la la la la la la! Troll the ancient Yuletide carol, Fa la la la la la la la! See the blazing yule before us, Fa la la la la la la la! Strike the harp and join the chorus, Fa la la la la la la la! Follow me in merry measure, Fa la la la la la la la! While I tell of Yuletide treasure, Fa la la la la la la la! Fast away the old year passes, Fa la la la la la la la! Hail the new, ye lads and lasses, Fa la la la la la la la! Sing we joyous all together! Fa la la la la la la la! Heedless of the wind and weather, Fa la la la la la la la!

about

Like my original A Christmas Collection Volumes 1 & 2, Volume 3 contains a variety of styles and instruments to entertain you. This time around, however, I chose to stick mostly to jazzy pop hits of the ‘40s and ‘50s, with just a bit of old tradition thrown in. This went hand-in-hand with the instruments I chose.
So, here you’ll find secular seasonal music, from the silly to the sublime, heavy (instrumentally) on the vocal stylings of Bing, et al. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll dance around the house!
And yes, hijinks may ensue.
