about

Performed on Knutsen harp mandola, steel guitar & 25 other instruments.
I was originally planning to call this album “Knutsenology.” It was my Weissenborn/Knutsen researcher pal Ben Elder who adlibbed the new title one day (please tell me you get it or he’ll be crushed). As things were coming to a close, it occurred to me that there might be a riot if I then didn’t actually do the Beatles tune the pun comes from! This is pretty much every instrument on the album doing something. The Knutsen harp mandola starts it off, while the main melody (John Lennon) features my last remaining instrument – the psychedelic Knutsen 6-string steel guitar!
